My WWDC 2025 wish list: example code on every API documentation page.
How I sometimes feel when I read Apple's documentation:
Actually, what if we just do it ourselves? I think it's quite unlikely that Apple is going to do it, so what if we create, say, a browser extension that adds user-contributed notes to the documentation pages? The notes can be code examples, warnings about common pitfalls, etc. We can use an upvote/downvote system to filter out spam and highlight the helpful notes. Is anyone interested?
@zhenyi Id be happy to help, although I haven’t built browser extensions like you have :) Been meaning to work on a small project and this sounds like a cool idea!
@venkatasg Thanks! This is just a random idea that popped into my head and I don't have anything concrete yet. I'll update you when I need help 😬
@zhenyi Dash 3 introduced annotations 10 years ago. It does exactly what you describe and it seems to be still working as of today.

Here's a screenshot of an annotation I added many years ago!
@zhenyi reminds me some code comments
@zhenyi I know it doesn't say this but I'm reading this as a "Paintronics" device
