If Putin is Trump's owner,
and Putin is not sure that USA will never again be a threat to Russia,
then,
Putin will not let USA take over Canada and/or Greenland as that would give USA increased control of the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean.

Whereas annex Mexico, impose martial law, build Venezuelean-type torture/concentration prisons, and dissident jails, gives Trump control of the US/Mex border. Maybe ok with Putin?
