Do you have those drills?
Still can't believe they get away with this with the C E mark.

So seldom *anyone* thinks about the experience of reading what they've written. I had a prescription with an unusual dose on it the other day where the prescriber had added "yes, really - i spoke to a specialist" - saved me twenty minutes chasing them
@mattgemmell /me looks over at Home Depot box with a Phillips head nail in it.
Sorry I don't have the pic handy but it's a real thing I purchased. Box of a hundred or so screws and one had somehow bypassed the thread forming operation so it was just a smooth cylinder of galvanized steel with a Phillips head on one end.
That's the one you need a "Birmingham screwdriver" for. 3:O)>
That is fantastic.
This is indeed beautiful and useful packaging for screws…I take it from the details provided these are only available to those in the EU, UK and Canada.
@JugglingWithEggs @mattgemmell
BS EN stands for British Standards European Norm (so it's a European norm adopted by British Standards)
As CE is no longer relevant for the UK, the marking UKCA (United Kingdom Conformity Assessed) was introduced. No Canada, here.
That's good, but why are they not square drive?
99% of the way there, their seeming fear of stating "Pozidriv compatible" is uh frustrating. Being clear about that would help folks looking to see if it's Pozidriv and not being sure about the" PZ2", "Pozi", star marking etc.
A trademark does not prevent proper careful reference to it. And careful/proper use would only improve clarity here.
@mirabilos @mattgemmell @darryl_ramm
The bits (and complete drivers) tend to be marked with the head type they engage. (Though the one I've just picked up has a cross in a circle and No.4 x 200mm - thank you, Draper!)
The great thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from.
(Slotted, Phillips, Pozidriv, Robertson, hex, Torx... and then all the "security" variants like Tri-Wing. After that you get to choose the head shape, length, and gauge!)
No shit Mr obvious? Just like the photo?
Many Pozidriv screwdrivers are not labelled like that. And if somebody is looking for "Pozidriv screws" would having them labeled "Pozidriv driver compatible" or similar help or hurt?
Pozidriv the full proper trademark name. Not Pozi are you just fucking stupid?
Wonderful!
But some people¹ would also need a ↻ to remember in which direction they have to turn the screw.

¹ I guess people using only digital clocks.
I'm used to unskilled helpers.
