Wait what, it is how many degrees outside in Toronto right now, in mid/late March? Please excuse me, I must step outside for a bit.

One interesting thing I saw on my not all that long walk around my area today was that despite Toronto hitting 19C today, there were still some small patches of snow and ice left in a few places. That stuff has been persistent this year.

I want to get back into taking photos, so on yesterday's walk I decided to just take some with my (old) phone as I walked through Fairbank Park in Toronto right around sunset, when the light was great.

The disused/unused greenhouse in these pictures has been fenced off from people ever since it was built, many years ago, when it replaced some run-down bocce courts. No, I don't know what the city is up to with it.

(Did I go overboard with alt text? Maybe.)

The city (well, its contractors) have been digging and constructing around in Fairbank Park for literal years now, although to be fair I think they started only shortly before 2020 and that obviously added some delays. I'm pleased to see that their giant office-tower style elevated crane is gone now, with only this smaller mobile one left. Maybe they're finally finishing up the storm sewer work and we can get the park back.

I should walk through the park more often so I'm more up to date.
