SparkFun Retired Products Archive Reference

In late 2024, SparkFun Electronics relaunched their website. They deleted roughly 20 years of archived product information, along with all associated datasheets, schematics and tutorials. Luckily, the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine has good records of the site, and I was able to recover links to 5934 deleted products. So here's the list:

We Saw a Chicken …

@scruss THANK YOU SO MUCH, this is an incredible resource!

In addition to abandoning the above information, I'm also disappointed that even for their current products, many of them are missing the formerly available tutorials, and even some important customer-to-customer help in the comments. It was a baffling decision. Time to spend more time on the Internet Archive.

@flyingcircuits you're welcome!

I'm kind of baffled by this. SparkFun are decent folks. They know they have a lot of kit out there. Yet they went ahead and did this anyway.

(The owner seems to want to completely flex the company to just be selling RTK surveying kit, it seems. While RTK GPS is very clever, the mass market appeal is low and the cost is high)

@flyingcircuits case in point: they make and sell this $2500 GNSSDO: SparkPNT GNSS Disciplined Oscillator — https://www.sparkfun.com/products/26289

It's pretty cheap for a GNSSDO (the ones in remote solar power stations were much, much more) but the number of people who need these is pretty small

SparkPNT GNSS Disciplined Oscillator

Featuring the mosaic-T from Septentrio and the SiT5358 Super-TCXO oscillator from SiTime, the GNSSDO provides ultra-precise timing output and allows the reception of timing correction service AtomiChron® for accuracy better than 1ns.
