Well, actually... According to the CDC (remember them, Junior?), vaccination generally DOES provide lifelong immunity.
This is a remarkable example of what this crowd specializes in: cherry-picking a bunch of true facts in order to point toward a spectacularly incorrect conclusion.
Yes, if you can pin them down, they’ll tell you that science is just another religion built on faith, and so any argument from you is just a bad faith promotion of the ‘scientism’ viewpoint, even as they scurry ever deeper down their own hand-waving scientivistic rabbit holes led by gurus, snake oil sellers, and prophets.
I’m old enough to have had #measles back when it was part of a barrage of childhood illnesses that everyone got.
I damn near died.
Sixty-five years later, I still remember the pain. Skin felt like I was being flayed alive. Even the weight of my bedsheets hurt.
Making a kid suffer through that when you could so easily prevent it?
Child abuse, plain and simple.

That would be a hard sell to anyone who’s had it. It went through all my sibs and my entire first grade class, and I don’t recall anyone who thought it was easy-peasy.
Since RFK is all about the science (hah!), let's give him the measles and see if his immunity is still strong.
The notion that you get better life long immunity to diseases by catching them when young instead of via vaccination is scary…why do the likes of RFK Jr think there was a drive for vaccinations in the first place?
I have hearing loss due to my mum catching Rubella from a kid when she was pregnant with me…I later was vaccinated, but when it came to checking my immunity before I had IVF, I was suprised to hear I had none. GP said this is not unusual.

I really should look into all of this. Like many of my peers, I had measles (moderate), mumps (mild) & chicken pox (mild) when I was a kid. (Yes, I have had the singles vax.) That was a time when some parents deliberately exposed their child to an illness so that the infection occurred at a time when it was “convenient.” (My mother didn’t.) The belief that catching a disease gives you lifelong immunity against it is deeply held. We now know that measles often destroys such immunity against other diseases, & there’s a possibility that Covid does the same, hence the terrible flu & RSV seasons we’ve had recently.
Maybe that “immunity” does occur, but not in everyone, & not always “lifelong”.

I had a pretty severe case of the measles. On top of that I had the mumps at the same time. Measles popped out and the mumps were internal to throat, mouth. The measles vax was invented in ‘63. I had them in 65/66. By 68 everyone was being vaxxed. They started giving boosters to college students in the 80’s & 90’s as a precaution. I did a blood test. I was still immune to the mumps and the German measles, but not rubeola.
@flexghost I wonder if this is the logic I will be/have been met woth when I try and address vaccine issues to doctors.
My Kaiser doc (in 2022) pooh poohed the necessity of looking into my vaccination status and putting me on. path to getting help.

The gov’t is going to be VERY successful at (again) killing large numbers of us with this vaccine idiocy (including avian flu), cutting Medicaid & SNAP & other food & health programs, and fucking with veterans’ health, Medicare & Social Security programs. The last numbers I saw were 1.7 million victims of COVID. This next “pandemic of intentional bureaucratic death” will be much, much higher.
Medicaid funds the bulk of nursing home care. Social Security disburses funds to 70 million people, many of whom are in a ‘vulnerable’ health category.
I wonder if DOGE has a pool going to see how many they can kill?

This might result in harsh consequences, when e.g. hospitals cannot operate because their systems got encrypted.

Making it the perfect time for Brooke f'ing Rollins to cut $1 billion in funding for schools, preschools and food banks to buy food, and to be cutting eligibility for free/reduced lunch and breakfast.
The most malnourished populations are already in predominantly red states and have been since basically forever.
