Better buy a chicken. Here in Germany you even can rent chicken, with food, stable and a manual.
Of course they want to see your ID and they want a deposit for the chicken, to make sure you will not eat it.

Retepkce ๐@greensoulbuddy @catflyhigh @davidho the reason for egg shortage is mainly the Bird flu and the possibility of transmission to mamals. So chicken will get killed by authorities in case of an outbreak. Keep that in mind for your plans.

We only had $4,500 in the stock market. When that got worth only $3,600, we liquidated most of it. I wanted to remove it before the election but my wife did not agree. According to Robinhood, we lost $980 in the selloff. I did keep from selling my stocks that weren't worth much (cannabis stocks). One of those has gone from $4.60 per share to $0.60. Of course if I gobble a bunch of those shares up now, I at least lower my average cost per share and can buy lots. If the market ever recovers... But poor people like us rarely have any money to put in the stock market, and anything we lose hurts.
