@memopemo I'm curious on what made it sad specifically? Though I also acknowledge I used to kinda have that thought, over time coming to understand for some people this is a happy place for them. I may not understand it myself, like I don't understand the joy of being 
to be put up after summer for some pooltoys, but I've come to understand that it's a happy place for them. ^^
This is a really detailed piece with all the progression! You've honestly got me musing about commissioning something in a similar layout that illustrates Kay's/my coming to terms with ending up squeaky. It'd be a nice thing to show as an example of my own thoughts on such, and something where I could write a sort of set of short scenes for different sub-pictures. ^^

) would *love* for this to happen to them. It may not be to everyone's liking, but there's definitely folks out there who'd appreciate this sequence too~
IMO, the appeal of being tf'd into a "dumb" animal, or being deflated and put away into a box/drawer for the winter, seems to be a form of escape and peace for some folks. I suppose that's the "sad" part about this, as they long to stop worrying about their daily struggles in their lives, being able to disconnect from everything and just *be* for a while instead. I've honestly had thoughts like that, too.
Also, Kay, I'd love to see a sequence like that!
