I dont think we're going to see much in the term of actual violent responses until the military starts getting unconscionable orders and they refuse orders and revolt.
Past that, small individual action will just be called terrorism. (Really, when a CEO killer gets 2 separate murder charges and terrorism charges is a farce, but that was the real point of the patriot act.)
