@lucidmachine Yes! I'm very accommodating with my rope bottoms and usually personalize the tie based on their individual needs and preferences.
- If they want something less challenging, I could do a gentler arm tie that leaves their hands available in a different fashion. Examples include T-Rex arms, behind the back arms, penguin arms (wrists bound to thighs - less bending over required, more squatting), and so on. Similarly, I can adopt restrictions that make it more difficult. Since we're not using the mouth in these examples, a gag is appropriate so long as it's negotiated and we have signaling conventions setup for the rope bottom.
- If they need more spacing between the pieces for grabbability, I could arrange a puzzle instead of a full game. Would still be using a tournament style set which has a mat and bigger simple pieces. They're easy to sanitize, and distinctly shaped for players that rely more on tactile to identify pieces. If they wanted more of a challenge I could use smaller sets. Also, it doesn't have to be chess. Plenty of games are possible candidates.
