Profoundly Nerdy@sergio_101 Noob here who is very early in the CW learning curve, how do you ever get to the point where you can mentally decode CW and transcribe a message, e.g., a radiogram, at the same time?
sergio_101on the subject of #RadioGram , I always write down the message as it comes across. one of the major points of the radiogram is that it has to be perfect to the letter.
The way i learned was by checking in to the slow speed net. They gave me test traffic at slow speed, and since it was test traffic, it was no big deal if i messed up.
Eventually, I got to the point where the let me run the slow speed net on thursdays!
