Man, Star Fleet is in a bad way if they're using transport technology to place explosives inside enemy ships. 👀

It feels almost like this episode broke some rule, like when Holdo light speeded the frigate into the Star Destroyer. I think #IntoDarkness did it too? 😖

@kcarr2015 disagree. Transport that torpedo next to the enemy warp core and remind the villain of the week that they should have picked peaceful coexistence

@Jam123 @kcarr2015

The point of beaming the torpedo to the Borg ship was to disable it *without* destroying it. Didn't work, but that was the idea, and it was a fairly sound one.

The Borg ship in question was just a probe, easy enough for Voyager to destroy the old-fashioned way, but that wasn't the plan.

And it was an okay plan. I mean, how else do you do that? Cut through half the ship with a phaser and hope the phaser beam doesn't accidentally hit the warp core?

I understand what Voyager's goal was, but it seems like beaming weapon into another ship would be one of those things that, if possible, everybody would already be doing it, including the Borg. 🤷‍♂️

@kcarr2015

The Borg already do that, except they beam over drones to assimilate you.
