@fkr Thanks for the feedback! We list in our database both European as well as open source and self-hostable software as Non-European alternatives. In the shorter infographics we should probably add a disclaimer. On the website it's separated more clearly.

I had quite a bad experience with #pCloud myself. It often had issues making stuff not work reliable.
Luckily there are many other good European alternatives. I had great experience with a pre-hosted Nextcloud from @thegoodcloud. Main reason switched away from that is because I get free @transIP #Stack as a work perk which honestly also works great (transparency disclosure: I work at team.blue). Both are #Dutch options, and I dare say much better than pCloud.

What sort of things didn't work with pCloud?
I've found them reliable so far, but I know that:
- Their webdav is only lightly supported.
- They scan your files for checksums and block people if the files show up on a blacklist. This hasn't effected me personally, but if you're backing up a large archive and have forgotten where you got some particular MP3, then it might be.
@number6 @buyeuropean @thegoodcloud @transIP They where fine at first, but I grew more and more annoyed with them until I quit due to it. It's been a 2 years ago that I used it, but the connection to their servers was unstable and would crash at times making automatic syncs rather troublesome, sometimes even corrupting files. I also had unexpected and unexplained downtime of the whole service far more often than I ever had at any competitor.
