I got all 3 shorts winners wrong, and only one of those winners was even my backup prediction. But the shorts are always a crap shoot.

I also got actress, editing, and animated feature wrong, but in all of those cases the winner was my backup prediction, and the actual winner was my personal preference.

Overall that put me at 17 right out of 23, which strangely enough put me ahead of 82% of GoldDerby’s experts, 64% of their editors, and 50% of the top 24 users. The lesson for the future might be to put more weight on the top 24 users, though I think that would have only netted me one more correct answer (documentary short) this time.
