Saw someone on #TikTok posit that Gen Z's paranoia at being perceived #online and ridiculed has led to #conformist behaviors and ideologies that have caused them to be more #conservative and I can't stop seeing it.

I know I'm painting with a broad brush here, but I think there is some truth to it. It explains the whole disdain for "millennial-core" which at its heart is just an acceptance of one's own cringe. Cringe is an unforgivable sin now. More than before.
