I wonder when they'll start filming the Season 02 of #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo #이상한변호사우영우 (lit. Weird Lawyer U Yeong U). She may not be an #autistic but she graduated in psychology and thus was careful in her portrayal. She superbly did well with her acting. So, I want to see her in the role again.

She also shared she refused to take on the role multiple times. But the director and writer insisted for her and how there's no one fit for the role. A few years later, she accepted the role. She said that it's a heavy role, and she's in no position to "represent" autistics.
But she did well. They understood and respected how serious #autism is, and so they took extra care in getting it right. They even repeatedly explained in many episodes how there are different #autistics and that it is a spectrum. In the end, many autistics globally, including parents, approved.

She may not be #autistic herself but she understood her character and portrayed it with deep respect. She deserves to take the role again and tackle more #autism related topics society is either ignoring or too "afraid" to address, not just in Korea but globally.

The same goes for the writer and director, they did a great job in Season 01 and were not afraid to put to the front the prejudices and discriminations #autistic people face every single day. #Kdrama
