@Azarilh After some thought, I think calling it toxicity might have been an overstatement.
In reality, lots of individuals were criticizing Proton arguing it is under heavy US influence because the CEO, Andy Yen, made some bold posts on Xitter and the subsequent community backlash on Reddit.
I'm not really sure to what extent I can really blame those people for being upset at the CEO's behavior, however, what they remarkably fail to understand is that Proton is way more than some spicy tweets.

@Tutanota for me it's a major benefit that you're actively communicating here, it shows a culture of embracing the open source community. There are some inconveniences in the mail app (search, labels, conversation view, different protocol than PGP) but overall it's a great product that I recommend. Mainly because of your openness and responsiveness, also on Github, and the improvements you keep making to the app. And I love that you keep sustainability in mind too. Keep up the good work!

@Tutanota The verification isn't working quite right - it's ok on mastodon.social, but not other servers (infosec.exchange and beige.party, for example)
This might be because the HTML code for your verification link lacks the rel="me" attribute, which is important according to some instructions?
