#ScreenshotSaturday ... #ndsdev trying to understand why my "constraint motion within a certain circular range" is sometimes throwing the character so strongly towards the center.
But I apparently don't have the appropriate #debugging setup yet.
@PypeBros woah, what is the top left interface? reminds me of interlisp a bit
@dziban that is the data graph view of "Data Display Debugger" aka ddd (https://www.gnu.org/software/ddd/), still surviving with TK in 2025

@PypeBros wow, it looks lovely. Is the game for nintendo DS?
@dziban it is, indeed. Although here, it's merely a few-rooms demo (http://sylvainhb.blogspot.com/search/label/ThreeRooms) for my next homebrew project.

@PypeBros this has such a Rayman vibes, I love it
@dziban Thank you ^_^. I loved the 1st Rayman too. At first I was annoyed it "stealed" some of my game ideas (character and world design for my game is rooted in 1993 ^^"), but Rayman 1 was just too good for me not loving it ^_^
@PypeBros Is the art yours as well?
@dziban it is. That's partly why it's taking sooo long to progress. The initial teenagers team is more or less gone, so all I get is soundtracks from former team members ... oh, and the art got crafted on the Nintendo DS, too . Here with #SpriteEditorForDS ;)
@PypeBros it looks stunning, great job!
@dziban thank you ^_^. The printed sheet on the right is my reference material from #GoodboyGalaxy, btw. http://sylvainhb.blogspot.com/2024/05/goodboys-geyser-was-here.html

@dziban (and same happens with almost everything else I still have to draw: it takes month to find the right reference and to study it to get something matching the level of what I already have)
@dziban but still, it's making steps into the direction I want. I've got two small and medium-sized projects done for the NintendoDS already: Apple Assault and School Rush. (http://sylvainhb.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html). Now I'm trying something that should have the size of Kirby's Dreamland (hence the codename #BilouDreamland :)
