Waiting for the first influencers (that typically don't code themselves) to demand that Microsoft open sources #Skype in 5 ... 4 ... ;) (We have Signal, Threema and for bigger groups Jitsi, Big Blue Button as more modern solutions, so we're fine, IMHO)

@kkarhan I wasn’t talking theoretical there, I’ve tried pretty much everything with my parents and the only thing that worked for more than 5 minutes was and still is Skype

Like I really wounder why...

Is it due to shitty #CGNAT at the #ISP end and #Skype doing aggresssive #HolePunching through any #NAT or some other #ISP-side shenanigans?
