@PatrickOBeirne Hello! It would help if you shared the prompt that Duolingo read to you. But here are some very basic facts about the characters:

* Batman: Both parents killed, vowed to avenge them by fighting crime, very wealthy, no super powers, uses custom tools hidden in belt.

* Spider-man: Teenager, photographer, bitten by radioactive spider which gave him super powers, spins large webs, swings from ropes.

* Superman: From another planet. Can only be hurt by rare space radiation.

@mbrailer Thank you! I don't know how to go back to that exercise and copy the text. As I recall, it was something about an uncle.

If the question was about #Asterix or #Tintin that would be Eurocentric. It would be ok to stick to tourist topics, like Frantastique did.

@PatrickOBeirne If the question involved an uncle, the answer was probably Spider-man. The death of an uncle is part of that character's origin story.
