You're my hero.
@molly0xfff Monero is still independent and not captured like Bticoin and co.
Monero = anarchist money
@theearthisapringle @molly0xfff
You are right Monero is way heathier than others on the technical side.
But what I meant is more broadly. Monero has no vc funding, is actively developing and not stagnant like Bitcoin. The community behind Monero is mostly anarchistic, so there is a culture behind it.
The only thing that bitcoiners think is pretty much = wen number go up
Bitcoin core has funding from AXA and private investors which worked for Obama.
There is a book about this. "Hijacking Bitcoin" *not read it myself
A few examples which are the reason I primarily support Monero :)
@pelle
Hi, thanks for the reply. Sadly you seem to be angry, but I will still try to explain.
No, unfortuneatly I do not pay with Monero for soup. These are cases where monero did not have its impact yet.
If you would like to support anarchists on the ground, here are comrades accepting Monero:
https://tekosinaanarsist.noblogs.org/category/statement/
When the purpose of Monero is to abolish banks and to develop counter economy, this seems to me, to be very anarchistic.
Other projects around Monero are creating safe spaces so that people can organize freely.
I would be very happy to know, what you think about my reply.
Revolutionary greetings
BOSTON—Stressing that the move would help keep digital currencies liquid through the coming year, crypto leaders called for an infusion of 20 million dopes Thursday to stabilize the market. “We’re calling for millions of bozos to be infused into the crypto market to stave off collapse and assure investors their money is safe,” said Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire, who along with other industry leaders stressed that a significant investment of chumps was urgently needed to lend confidence to exchanges of top currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether. “Of course, we’re also hoping to eventually offset risk by diversifying into galoots, simpletons, and outright morons. But the important thing now is to get many, many more idiots confused enough to believe they have any chance in hell of making money off this grift.” Allaire noted that if a diverse range of dumbasses was not available, he was also considering propping up the industry by minting a single billionaire numbskull.
When a consumer product is so lacking in merit or worth that taxpayer dollars & fascism are needed to impose its acceptance as legal tender...
Another Savings & Loan bailout is on its way

It seems as though they want to get set up comfortably in crypto then abandon the dollar. Of course they would stand to profit immensely and require all transactions be done so that they can monitor and reap the tax every penny. It would collapse the country into the dictator's lap.
crypto currency for the criminals......naturally promoted by GOP , Musk and Trump....
@molly0xfff If you want to know what the US government is thinking, - listen to JP Morgan.
All crypto costs the environment in a big, big way!!!
The electricity used to make just 1 ONE CRYPTO COIN can power 14.5 average US households for a year.
So the electricity to make ONE MILLION Crypto Coins would power 14,500,000 homes.
As of July 1, 2023, California had 14,763,237 housing units. So that amount of electricity can power all but about 263,000 homes is California.
The EPA should have shut this shit down in the US and in Canada, environment Canada years ago!!!!

"various internet sources" is not a source, nor an evidence.

BTW we know that "mining" Cryptocurrency is not necessary. The world has money. The Dollar, Euro, Yen, Renminbi, British Pound, etc.
The fact is we are using an inordinate amount of electricity to produce something that is not needed.
Much like online shopping. Instead of 1 truck delivering 1000 items to a store there's a 1000 trucks delivering individual items to 1 house at a time.
Perfect post.
It needs its own font like ambigram, I'm disappointed with myself for not designing it for griftcrypto
(ambigram is still ambigram upside down)
@molly0xfff The bigger fool scam needs the US treasury to step in to be the biggest fool of all...
...and given the election results...

@molly0xfff Independent of big banks? I don't think it's going so well. Have you heard about the memecoin ruling? I read a nice description of it on sojooo earlier:

@molly0xfff Remember when cryptocurremcy was said to be able to operate without the need of banks and governments and such?
So, about that...
