I updated #LinuxMint and my boot menu is back!

I hope this isn't going to be a constant battle between #windoze and #Linux!

On the plus side, since my Internet was actually working, I logged into my #Steam on #LinuxMint and #BG1 and #EuroTruckSimulator2 both have install options. I'll need to look up how stable they are on Linux. I don't want to get ¾ through BG1 only for a bug to kill my entire campaign.

Linux Mint really doesn't like me. Maybe if I can figure out how to counter the motion sickness, I'll install #TheStanleyParable on Linux.

@SilverArrows dont remember how, but there is setting in linux where you can set seconds of this menu to zero
@iuvi don't burn me at the stake, but I do use windoze the most. I've wanted to use Linux since about 2002, and I thought my dream would finally come true. I just can't get my favourite programs to work via wine. And yes I know, gimp, but I tried gimp and I hated it. Maybe I just need to reinstall or try a different distro, but my computer nerd days are far behind me. I'd probably break my PC.
@SilverArrows i also frustrated that linux force ppl to waste time and be so complicated. I vomit from gimp either, but get into krita software, more user friendly. Wine for me - another planet. Btw why your linux mint update 21.1, aint xia 22.1 latest one?
@iuvi don't ask me, I did sudo apt upgrade today and it updated it enough to give me back my boot menu 🤷🏽‍♀️ it's a good day if I can get Linux to connect to the Internet. Anything else is a bonus.
