Happy to report that basic Settings search in the iOS 18.4 beta is still completely broken.

One day they’ll figure it out. Maybe with iOS 22.

@snazzyq And it’s not an AI thing. It works the same on my plain Siri phone. I wouldn’t say it’s broken, just not giving you what you’re asking for. Like a person that just keeps guessing deeper and deeper.

They seem to not really care about breaking things.

For example, the virtual home button (AssistiveTouch) is utterly broken near the top of the screen on iPhone 15 - likely due to that "dynamic island" - for a long time.
That does not seem to bother anybody at Apple enough...

@snazzyq Not to long after they basically added another tap to get into 'Apps' too, they break the search and now it's even harder to use Settings. Who's running things over there?
