Sobering commitment.
I'm not buying Kentucky bourbon anymore.
I figure any people who can elect Mitch McConnell and the five Republicans they've sent to congress need a damn intervention, not more of my money.
From here on out, I start voting with my wallet. I promise I'm going to get better and better at it over the next four years.
P.S. I was going to boycott Oklahoma products but then I realized there's nothing to boycott.
@mmiasma @Kierkegaanks I work at the LCBO and I’m seeing a big push toward this kind of thing.
Even when the tariffs were put on hold so there was no action for us as yet — Doug Ford was going to order we pull all American products from our shelves — there’s a lot of questions from customers about Canadian and/or international options to American products.
I believe I now have those same questions. I'm considering just going back to scotch but what other options do you recommend?
@mmiasma @Kierkegaanks Scotch is its own thing, of course, and is wide open to buy. To a lesser degree but in the same vein, bourbon is only from Kentucky.
But as a couple of other options, instead of Jack Daniel's we’re suggesting Crown Royal, Bearface Triple Oak, Gretzky Red Cask, or Jameson.
For Rye try Forty Creek or Canadian Club.
For vodka, closest thing we carry to Tito’s is Tag No. 5.
Wine is a whole other thing, but we have to-go suggestions there, too.

BTW, the point of my searching was to stop drinking liquor made in red states so Bourbon (Kentucky) Sour Mash (Tennessee), etc. Wayne Gretzky is a BIG fan of Donald Trump so honestly, no - not a dime to him. I don't care if it's the best whiskey in the world.
