Blasting Rod"Songs from the Halls of Mandos" is a new solo album by S. Shah of Blasting Rod consisting of 4 Dungeon Synth études recorded while developing a system using tarot, gematria, and bibliomancy as a basis for partially aleatoric improvisation.
Composition process and the system that created it were central to the production, but are not particularly evident in the result. A detailed understanding of the methods is not necessary.
