@carnage4life Thank you for saying this. I boosted because I think more people need to read it. Also, I am of the opinion that these political parties are tools available to all of us. (Especially true in my very rural and very red U.S. state.) Participation at the grassroots level is so sickeningly low it shouldn’t surprise anyone the few left making the decisions at the top aren’t reading the room very well.

Local parties (those who elect the people that elect the DNC Leaders) are competing with NGO non-profits for limited Time, Talent and Treasure.
