You know what will work flawlessly no matter how old is your device? Any #Linux distro.

My take? Fedora. Something close to "vanilla"? Debian. Something more... "useful"? Ubuntu. Windows refugee? Mint.

Microsoft removes Windows 11 24H2 official support on 8th 9th 10th Gen Intel CPUs

Microsoft has finally added the official CPU support list for Windows 11 version 24H2, and the company has strangely removed several Intel processors from it.

@darkghosthunter Note that this only applies to OEM for new systems. Existing CPU's etc are supported. I have a laptop with a 8gen CPU and 24H2 is supported (and recommended).

@darkghosthunter Do you mean that for Windows refugees Mint is the most friendly solution?
(I would only need an internetbrowser and a filemanager i think)

Can i run that from a usb stick or an external SSD drive? To see if it works for me?

@danie1 Yep, go ahead. If it works 100% for you, then you may install it.

If you're 100% gamer, you may try Bazzite on a empty drive (dual-booting is possible but it's a PITA if it's your first time on the tux)
