They will get away with this for a short while because so many people have the "King's tax" model in their heads. What I mean by that is they feel tax money is "wasted" because it just piles up in the King's Castle.

People who think that are wrong, of course. Taxes get redistributed in modern governments, in this case to 2400 people who will not be buying cars, eating at restaurants and anything else you are selling.

Instead the money will go to Felon&Musk's castles where it will uselessly pile up.

A major economic depression is being created.

@alexproe Yes, every one of those persons is a human being with a complex human life, and almost all of them have commitments to others including families. The effects of these massive sudden layoffs are horrendous on all of these human beings, and the ripple effect into the whole society will be horrible.
