Did anyone out there in fediland have any of the #JapanForSale comps? I only ever had (and still have) Vol 4. It was the first real glimpse I had at modern Japanese pop music, back in the early aughts.

My first contact with contemporary Japanese music was the Sushi 3003 compilation in the mid-90s, with a lot of Shibuya-kei.

I really only had access to anime soundtrack stuff in the 90s due to my only "in" into that world just not knowing much mainstream music.
