What used to be a rare occurence at #Ancestry (tree hints not working) is now a daily event. Sometimes for extended periods.

Keep it up #Ancestry, you're sure to lose customers.

Maybe, just maybe, the venture capitalists that took it over will then clear off.

@Yoss1960 For me it is far too expensive for what it provides. I will not be renewing by subscription when it is complete. Then they also want to upsell you for the Pro Tools that most services or software provide without an additional subscription.

For my needs in US searching, Family Search has added a lot of new features, to include AI handwriting search, which is extremely helpful and has found a lot of records for me that were previously not indexed.

I'm considering my options; #Ancestry does have records of use to me that aren't available elsewhere. OTOH, #FindMyPast have an odd (to my mind) way of going about things, making their site more awkward to use.

Agree 100% about 'Pro Tools'.

As you say, it's bloody pricey now. 😩

I have precious little outside the UK, but will be giving #FamilySearch more use.
