The NYT has published a useful graphic showing all the agencies with investigations into or regulatory battles with Musk's companies that have seen staffing cuts, including the firing of top officials.

Elon Musk’s Business Empire Scores Benefits Under Trump Shake-Up

Government investigations into Mr. Musk’s companies are stalling amid President Trump’s firings and Biden administration resignations.

The New York Times
@briankrebs Musk should be in jail right now. All of this is 1) a conflict of interest. 2) corrupt. 3) illegal.
@briankrebs lmao, the nyt is just showing off the fruits of their journalism over the past many years. "look at the situation we helped create!"
@briankrebs dotted line CFPB to X as EM has plans for peer to peer payments that would surely come under scrutiny
@briankrebs And yet the way they present this still makes it sound normal--not BLATANTLY CORRUPT.
@nandor @briankrebs That's objective reporting. They don't have to say he's corrupt - they're showing you the evidence so you can see for yourself.
@briankrebs "And kids this is why we have laws about divestiture when people start working in government."
@briankrebs what about a $ tracker-all U.S. govt pants/subsidies/laws that made him multi-billionaire? Like a DOGE report ON him exposing all the US govt $ wasted on him?
@briankrebs everyone here forgets one thing - it was Biden's admin which enabled his corruption. Trump is just (ab)using it now.
@briankrebs Is there something that prevented them from sharing this information with voters before the election?
@briankrebs President Musk & his demented janitor Trump — both on a retribution campaign against resistance to their psychopathic actions.

@briankrebs DOGE and Elon Musk now have total ability to engage in as much corruption as they want.

"The White House has designated Mr. Musk’s office, United States DOGE Service, as an entity insulated from public records requests or most judicial intervention until at least 2034, by declaring the documents it produces and receives presidential records."

Trump’s Declaration Allows Musk’s Efficiency Team to Skirt Open Records Laws

Government watchdog groups say they will challenge the Trump administration’s decision to put the initiative under the Presidential Records Act, which shields its work from public disclosure.

The New York Times
@briankrebs NYT is complicit in the attack against our nation... Boycott
@briankrebs "trump shake up" ? Why are they incapable to use the oroper denomination for anything that Trump is doing or saying?

@briankrebs

Brian, has Congressional Dems & Senators been made aware of this? They should be screaming about this every day until trump is forced to dump Musk.

@briankrebs Here we bear witness to severe cuts to, and outright debasing of, public education. Anyone armed with basic, critical thinking skills would immediately see conflicts of interest, and question Musk's intentions. Unfortunately, the base of #TFG enjoy the taste of #cheetojizz and don't question anything. I'm embarrassed of my fellow Americans that elected this current administration and apparently condone its actions.
