I've been told that these people will come around!

While we are being completely unrealistic let's add the Easter bunny to the coalition.

I don't think folks are ready to process how many Trump voters are generally happy with most of what's happened.

They only don't like the part that happened to them specifically. They enjoy everyone else's pain.

It's this, for every sub-group that voted for Trump, claiming that it was a discount poultry play.🥚

@mekkaokereke this is why I am completely unimpressed with Trump voters boo-hooing about their vote.

Because he all he has to do is make the right mouth noises and their regret will evaporate. He doesn’t have to rescind a single AO, all he has to do is SAY they won’t be hurt, and they’ll joyfully run off the cliff.

@bynkii @mekkaokereke I do enjoy the schadenfreude of leopards eating people's faces, but as the meme implies, these people voted for them because they promised leopards eating people's faces.

It's not like they were lied to, they just do not appreciate the cognitive dissonance caused by their own face being nibbled at.

@mekkaokereke It is absolutely rage inducing watching content creators put out "MAGA got what they voted for, hahaha owned" stuff and completely discount that they're fine with all of this as long as THOSE PEOPLE get burned.

So many people, so incredibly many people, just don't seem to get it and never will.

@martinvermeer @mekkaokereke That's fine on an individual level, but to try to frame it as some kind of "partial win" for non-MAGA folks is really disingenuous.

We ALL lose, one group just thinks that losing is winning. That's the bottom line.

@kellyromanych @mekkaokereke being selfish here in Germany, it would really help if our election would go different.

I am afraid of the people voting for punishment. and they are afraid of me for wanting some sort of climate crisis realisation.

I am expecting a record turn out. and still trying to be hopeful.

but have the gut feeling that too many people will vote for "let´s hurt other people they deserve it"
even if it hurts themselves.
