It's not bad. Watchable so far.
It's not very realistic. There's a bit many "romantic" slow moments - but at IQIYI you can play it at 1.25 speed. 😅 WZCs character is ok.
(Watchable is not something I can say about all of #WangZhuoCheng dramas...)

By now I'm convinced, they're gonna kill off WZCs character.
"I'll have to protect you" - famous last words.
The thing is, while I'm watching #TheWhiteOliveTree, I'm also watching #LongWayDown with my parents.
And when you might want to think about the one "oh, this is fiction, people wouldn't do something like that", the other series tells you, yes, people would do something terrible like this, they actually did worse.

Maybe it's about time to drop it now.
If I only knew whether there are any more flashbacks featuring Captain Jiang or whether they'll just go on not actually showing what happened (which is valid, too; I'd just like to know).
