Last week here at @heiseonline we had two #microblogging services that brought as much #traffic as #X brought, before we stopped posting there: Still don't know why, but #Threads even beat #Mastodon. #Bluesky only third this time.

If we take the three #TwitterAlternatives together, they even beat the original from way back…

(Oh, and yes, there is also a peak from #X in there, but that's only from one viral article.)

Here you can see, that (other than #X) the new peak from #Threads is not from one (or two articles) but that there definitely was a shift. It seems like Threads is on par with #Mastodon, but for that we'll have to see.

@mho the rise of threads looks VERY worrying
Wow, what a nice crash on Twitter in the last few weeks :O 📉

@mackuba.eu

The final crash happened, whenn we stopped posting our content there. But the #traffic was declining since two years.

@mrtoto

how are you measuring bluesky traffic? note that bluesky doesn’t have a redirect service so visits from the app won’t automatically show up in any analytics apps unless you manually annotate your links with utm_source or equivalent.

@danabra.mov

Just look @heise.de : We're indeed adding the parameter, just not manually 😉
