Erik@ujh @penaddict this leather desk mat from Galen Leather is a favorite. It really gives my desk a more comfortable feel. I have another one under my keyboard for computer use. You can see I’m also a fan of the desk tray and I use a vertical pen holder. #FountainPens

I'm currently loving getting to know my #DukeRubyFude #FountainPen for drawing & lettering, usually on #Canson Bristol paper, but sometimes just on #Hammermill color copy paper. I also splurged on a set of #Pilot #ParallelPens because I'm hoping to give modifying the nibs a try. I'm a little scared, but it should be fun!

Lisa@ujh @penaddict As I was listening to the episode I was realizing that my somewhat silly Lego desk tray is often the most organized area of my desk and covered a lot of the things mentioned (even the rabbit & frog ramen washi if you look closely!). There's usually a decent pair of scissors there too.
This wood holder from Galen is also exactly what I needed for dip pens and swatching tools, plus the glass dropper bottle I use for water when swatching or painting fits perfectly.
