By the way, if age is the sole criterion of wisdom or probity, was Apollo 11 fake because Mission Control was run by, on average, 28 year-olds?
Also, the OAIC alleged that Medibank's FY22 cyber security budget was $1 million. If a higher average age of Board members is correlated with higher cyber governance, well, it sure as heck didn't show up there.
Let's focus on the actual conduct and subsequent risks in question re DOGE, not the ages of the officials. If we are worried about their being agents of a hostile intelligence service, well, Hanssen wasn't playing community footy as a 17 year-old while spying for the Soviets, was he?

My objection is to calling them 'child soldiers' because the language is sensationalist and, in my view, distracts from a calm analysis of risk and how we should reform the sprawling mess that is any bureaucracy.
