tl;dr WhatsApp fixed the vuln on the back end, so you don't need to do anything to your phone, up to and including enabling Lockdown mode. Paragon Solutions sucks and you should be mad at them for enabling spying on civil society.

@evacide Whatsapp is owned by Meta, which means by default they are spying on you
@evacide At some point, the NSA is going to have to take its mission -- securing US computers -- seriously. I'm not mad that opposition forces spy, I'm mad that the US won't take the obvious steps required to stop it.
@evacide It's nonetheless a good idea to switch from Zuckerberg-controlled WhatsApp to Signal or Matrix. Especially if you have the power to convert the people you communicate with, too.
