As we continue to analyze what went wrong in November, it's important to acknowledge that the political media landscape has shifted away from TV and toward digital. In a guest piece for The Big Picture, writer Tristan Snell offered his ideas for how Democratic campaigns can be successful in this new media environment moving forward. https://thinkbigpicture.substack.com/p/trump-biden-digital-media

Digital and social are replacing TV as America's dominant medium—Democrats must evolve to win

The Big Picture
@georgetakei Hey Now George! Love you so much Brother. May humbly say that both parties are basically the same and two sides to the oligarch american emire? Tysm!
@not_qty @georgetakei That really depends on who you are, honestly. If you are a LGBTQ person that calculus looks quite different. I agree that both are far too under the influence of the wealthy, but there are other areas of focus where they diverge drastically. Who you are and what most concerns you will determine how similar or different they may appear.
@reflex @georgetakei im human along with 8 billion other ppl, that is all the importance we need. Ty for your comment tho
@not_qty @georgetakei That's all that is important to you. Privileged people often do not understand the challenges those less privileged face, and that they don't get to choose between hypothetically perfect candidates, only the ones that will do less harm to themselves and those they care about.
@reflex @georgetakei WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING PRIVILEGED? DO YOU KNOW ME? NO, STFU!
@not_qty @georgetakei Your centering of your personal concerns as the only ones that matter, dismissing the concerns of the multitudes of others who do actually find significant differences in policies that matter to them is privilege.

Many do not have such privilege, and have to consider more than you choose to take into account.
