A bit of a side quest on the work bench today. I already took it apart some time ago and cleaned the keys. Some of them weren’t working back then so next is cleaning the contacts and rubber pads. I’m also going to replace the capacitors in the power supply. I hope that brings everything back 🤞 #repair #retro #synth

The JX-3P is fully working again! Cleaning the rubber pads did the trick. I also replaced the electrolytic capacitors in the PSU while on it. It sounds really great with the two DCOs per voice which can be detuned. The programmer is really making a difference #roland #jx3p #repair #retro #synth

@polykit I only have the JX-03 Boutique version, but gee, what an awesome synth, such a delight to dial patches on it... insanely underrated.
