After showing the Sam & Max collector's edition last week, I wanted to show you the differences between the comic book included in this edition (right) and the original.

As you can see, the book is smaller (and less thick).

This edition of Sam & Max Freelance Police is 40 pages long. It includes the "On the road" story that inspired the video game.

And in the original book, there are 200 pages of stories (some in color) and artworks! 🎨

One of the color artworks from the original comic book was used on the back of the Limited Run edition of Sam & Max Freelance Police 🚔

It's a great idea to have included this comic book in the Sam & Max Hit the Road Collector's Edition 😀

@Gamrok I had no idea Sam & Max comics were ever officially translated like that!

@ja2ke Yes, and the French edition is very good! 😀

It was published in 2015 by Onapratut. I believe the comics has also been translated into other languages.

@Gamrok got it, that’s cool! The cover and back cover of the LRG release is very closely based on the original single issue printing of On the Road when it was first published by Comico in 1989. Purcell prefers black and white to the 80s flat colors these days so we kept it B&W though.
@ja2ke Thanks for the photos! It looks nice in color too.
