This film is a star studded advertisement for the United Nations adressed to the American TV audience. It's from 1964 and a long winded and tedious version of a Christmas Carol.
It's worth it for a glimpse into a future that is remarkably similiar to the one we are going through now. There is a character exellently played by #PeterSellers that resembles the Orange Pest. It's remarkable.
Peter Sellers was one of the finest actors there ever were. I had never realised as I don't enjoy the cringe comedy of Pink Panther or The Party. If only he had not been such a troubled person he would have left so many more classics to enjoy.
I am quite partial to the cherub faced Sellers of the 1950s and Goon period. Some nice person even put "Penny Point to Paradise" on the internet. Now I wish more than ever all Goon Shows had been televised. They were amazing.
