Nowhere GirlEvery white person in the US is the recipient of extraordinary, unearned privilege, compounded by other degrees of privilege such as affluence, maleness, cis-heteronormativity, and Christianity. Most pretend not to be aware of this, many feel entitled to it, and only a few acknowledge how fucked up it is and try to do something about it.
White supremacy and bigotry to perpetuate it are essentially endemic to the white demographic, regardless of their ostensible politics, using whatever form of power is available to them, whether that's their fist, their money, or their influence on the government.
When you see white liberals, "centrists," and "moderates" supporting "anti-woke," "anti-DEI" and other conservative crusades, it's not because they are mistaken about the intent. They know and support the bigotry just as much.
