What effect these tags have when you put them in bio? I saw some people have it

Fedi.TipsAs far as I know, it has the same effect as just having non-tag words.
So, if people search for "trees" and your profile contains the word trees or the hashtag #trees, it will show up in their search results for profiles. (As long as you've ticked the box for your profile to show up in searches, that is.)

Carbon Carrot@ujeenator My guess is that some bots—eg. bsky bridges—look for these strings in your bio, and those are some de-facto standard ones
