Love this! A 22-page DIY web archiving zine that "shows you why everyone should participate in preserving the things on the web they care about, and how anyone can do so (no special expertise required!)".

@stefan @quinnanya @Literature_Geek @lavaeolus I hate to be "that guy" (like, I really do, but digital archival means a lot to me and this is kind of a big deal), but proton mail kind of became a questionable pick for a lot of folks very recently.

I won't say more than that, if the authors (who I believe are @'d) already reviewed the recent proton-centric news and have decided to keep the zine as is, that's their prerogative.

Edit: and also, I very much love this zine, it's very well done. Sorry, I had meant to mention that, too.

Re #Proton: My recommendation is https://posteo.de/en - I've been using them for >10 years and am very satisfied with their service. They are simply two things: reliable and trustworthy (and hosted in Germany) > We offer anonymous and sustainable email accounts, address books and calendars. Our service is completely ad-free and self-financed. Posteo was founded in 2009. We want to provide an impetus for greater security, privacy and sustainability on the internet, and offer alternatives. 🚀🔁
