@kmcshane It's funny/sad that this kinda just happened, only the punchline was more punitive IRL.
"5% of you are fired."
@ariaflame Maybe you should read The Dawn of Everything by David Graeber and David Wengrow as well. That's all I have to say in this thread. Good luck with your endeavours.
@kmcshane This reminds me when I was working for The Fork.
A French manager from the design department named Yannick sneaked in our office and came closer to me, 'clocking me' with a nonsensical narrative saying there was "too much estrogen in our team" and that "if we leaved all women on their own (implying with no men as supervisor) jealousy and disputes would manifest" [literal quotes].
Most ladies in the team looked at each other flabbergasted and he left.
I reported this toxic rhetoric to management and HR and was fired the following week.
Thank you The Fork; you've been a great Trip Advisor to me!
I will remember you next time I need venues or restaurants advices.

@kmcshane "Mature definition" kek
The fact that you use the phrase "less privileged" while also setting up a false dichotomy power with "protect & uplift" vs "aggressive & harm" shows how you misunderstand the concept.
Those two are the same thing, just within a specific frame and from the dichotomous point of view.
To care for something or someone in need of protection requires aggression and power to both deter and overcome whatever is posing a threat with harm. You cannot hold that accountable because that will deter the protection itself. The more Daniel Penny cases, the more chilling effect it will have.
In simpler terms, when me victim, man aggressive and harm good. When me perpetrate, man aggressive and harm bad.
So, if you stood up and asked Mr. Big Zucc this question, he would be quite right in staring at you like the idiot you are, and telling you (and by proxy your constituents agreeing with you) that you're fired.
@kmcshane I'm probably not the first one to say it but…
"Masculine energy" is the new "move fast and break things"
@kmcshane what about a childish definition where men are allowed to have feeling and express them in an healthy way?
why always using the children for the bad definition?
@kmcshane Aha, so that's what the Tech Bros ™ mean when they want that "Masculine Energy"? 🫣
