If you’re reading this and on warhammer.social it’s a note to say that this server is no longer moderated as of today (17/01/24), and it is liable to be closed without notice.
A decision was made on the 17/11/24 that the server would close, after that point comms about the closure ceased. After which and in that in that context as the Mod on the server I initiated communications about the shutdown.
Everyone here in this period received a toot about the close (done manually).
Updates on the closure have been posted and can be found on my timeline (25 over the course of a bit more than a month).
New sign ups to the server (I hadn’t the ability to turn these off) were informed on the day they signed up and directed to new servers.
New spam accounts which had signed up were suspended daily up until my departure from the server.
Prior to the closure notice, I had purged of our user database of lurking/dormant spam accounts.
Remaining active accounts in this week received a closure notice via email. This amounted to 4 users.

Lastly on the closure this instance was run without any financial support and was maintained through the goodwill of our Admin. So thank you to @ianob
