This is that tree along the border fence road (the fence is to my back when shooting this photo) that I had a timelapse set up on a couple days ago. It really sounds like the Coronado National Forest wants to close the road to the public, so if I want to get this timelapse, I need to go do it tomorrow, since my weekend is busy.

This was the first one of this tree that I've edited. I think the others I shot a couple days ago might be better. It'll be part of my Muro Loco project.

I shot this with my 24mm f1.6 lens. I decided that this was a perfect scene for the 24mm f3.5 tilt-shift. When I got it out of the case, that's when I realized the adjusting knob was missing (per post several days ago). By the time I realized I could hand-adjust the lens, a cloud blocked the sun.

What this shot really needs is a thunderstorm background, with clear skies to the west to get the bars/shadow effect. If they close the road, I'll have to risk getting busted to get the shot. #PhotographyIsNotACrime

When I went back two days ago to do the timelapse, I scoured the ground where I'd parked to see if the little ($220) knob had fallen off when I pulled the lens from the case. No luck. I'm going to do a thorough cleaning of the truck to see if it's in there somewhere.
