Regarding recent boosts about Facebook openly supporting fascism in the US (it has been tilting discourse and media toward reactionaries for more than a decade now, including by outright banning and suppressing radical and even progressive accounts and posts), part of what we need to do is directly respond to the propaganda people are getting, on whatever platform, and to do that we need spaces for filtering out the noise and deciding what is important enough to respond to and what to share.
