Morning Mastodonians!

I want to sing the praises of #EV life once again. The simple joy of waking up every morning to a full tank, done overnight for a few bucks, is hard to overstate. I am not much of a "car guy," but I love driving my #Kia #EV6. The #EV6 is a joy to drive, with excellent handling and great acceleration even in Eco mode. Put it into Sport mode, and the takeoff is breathtaking. Save for some minor "skittering" when the road is a little rough, it is a perfect car to drive.

I had a good #BeerNight with the other dads last night. We've been getting together monthly for 15 years since I coached their daughters in soccer. It's a great group of guys (about 8 of us, with 5 of us being regulars), and we always have a good time. We went to the Great American Beer Hall in #Medford, a cool place. It is a little sterile, but there are plenty of beer and hard seltzer choices, and even on a cold Wednesday night, it was hopping. Good times.
Not much planned for #today. I drove my wife to work, but I forgot to put together my #PlanetFitness bag. I haven't quite got into the routine for it yet. I'll try to take the #dogs for #walkies. We went out briefly yesterday, but it was so cold, and Phineas started limping due to the road salt, so we came back early. I'll have to put some Musher's Helper on before we go out today. And then we'll swing by the regular Chinese restaurant on the way back from work.
I put a lot of hours in at the #SaltMine yesterday but didn't get much done. I need to stay more focused. I had a good 1-on-1 with my boss. I'm excited to hear I might start part-time on another project, which is perfect for my ADHD mind. It's review time coming up, and while the official review will come next month, he said I not only brought technical expertise to the project, I also brought great energy. I'm not sure anyone has ever said that before, but I am very pleased.
