@Suzy Starlite and I are back to the gym, but now at FT30 which is based in Caldas da Rainha. We dearly miss all our friends at DREAM in Samora Correia but now with our move, it’s necessary. The three main gyms in the city are owned by one company, Balance which from the direct debit appears to have a bank account in London. Interesting. We only visited one and seemed friendly and is mid-priced. Perfect. The machines are different than DREAM as are the clientele—less focused on bodybuilding and more on overall fitness. They still of course deliver an appropriate level of torture. That’s the machines, not the people. You only have to give one month’s notice to cancel so steady as she goes. Up to now, it’s cool.
